9 SUMMERY DIY'S I'VE BEEN MEANING TO SHARE.

Hi, so sorry for the radio silence. It's been pretty busy around here, what with a certain persons first birthday and a giant whale cake to make but I'm finally back and ready to share some more crafts from around the web.

9 Summery Diy's To Make #diy #crafts #summer #summerdiys #weekenddiys

I know I normally share these kind of round ups on the weekend but I've found so many gorgeous summery crafts over the last couple of weeks that I had to share. They're all great but I've got a couple of stand out favourites, the pressed dried flowers in the glass frame, the crocheted daisy glasses case and even though Easter has been and gone the Easter baking party whisks can be used all year round once you change up the tags.

Let me know your favourites in the comments below. I'd love to hear from you.

Happy Daisy Crochet Glasses Pouch

Keep your favorite sunnies safe in this cute floral crochet glasses pouch. The Happy Daisy Pouch is a free crochet pattern that is simple and quick to make.

Pressed Flowers Mother’s Day Craft Idea

Pressed flowers!! They’re everywhere!! On sheer blouses, embroidered onto jeans, phone cases, tulle skirts, nylons, embroidery hoops, and the list goes on. I’m sure the ones on clothing aren’t real pressed flowers but they sure mimic the real ones. We won’t be making clothing for this gift idea but, as you can see I am pretty inspired by it.

Rainbow Paper Flower Tablescape

This Rainbow Paper Flower Tablescape is the perfect way to welcome in Spring! It also involves two of our favorite things: rainbows and flowers. We created layered 2-D paper flowers in different shades of pink, orange, yellow, blue, and purple to create a rainbow of flowers down the center of the table.

Easter Baking Party Invitations

Do you prefer to cook or bake? It may have something to do with my humongous sweet tooth, but I would definitely choose baking over cooking any day of the week! I’m pretty sure my kids would too, and it’s so much fun to get them involved in the kitchen. It’s even more fun to host a baking or cookie-decorating party with friends, and Easter is the perfect excuse!

DIY Crepe Paper Flower Magnets

These DIY crepe paper flower magnets look super cute holding up inspiration images and mini prints in my studio. Heck, they even look pretty all on their own! And if your home or office is in need of a little springtime color too, well, then these magnets are the perfect craft to tackle this week.

Macramé Produce Bag

I know the weather still feels cool in a lot of places, but mentally, I’m already in summer mode. I can’t wait for the farmers’ markets, fresh produce, tank tops and poolside lounging. So, to make summer come a little bit faster (or at least entertain me until it does) I whipped up a few of these no-sew macramé produce bags.

Compliment Cookies

There’s nothing like breaking open a tasty cookie to reveal a piece of paper telling you “your butt looks amazing in those pants!!” These fortune cookie-style cookies are dyed in bright colors but filled with custom compliments that are sure to put a smile on anyone’s face. Make a batch of compliment cookies and share them with friends and family to instantly brighten their day!

DIY Lollipops With Edible Flowers

The concept of edible flowers has always delighted me. As a teenager, I was completely obsessed with faeries, so the idea of flower-covered cupcakes or lavender-flavored bubble gum was totally captivating. While the novelty has worn off a bit over the years, I still have a special place in my heart for delicate edible blossoms.
