SEPTEMBER MONTHLY FAVOURITES #gatheringbeauty #favourites #favorites #monthlyfavourites #monthyfavorites

Hi, how are you? I’m back from my summer break and raring to go. I spent the last week planning and getting a head start on some upcoming autumn crafts. I can’t wait to show you some of the projects I’ve got planned. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for an autumn origami leaf garland coming next week.

But before we leap back in to all things crafty I thought it would be a good idea to catch up and share a few of the things that have caught my eye while I’ve been away. Check them out below.

First up we’ve got these gorgeous linen leaf shaped play mats from Omoloko on Etsy. They come in a range of beautiful dusky colours and would make the perfect finishing touch to any nursery. I’m smitten by that deep forest green.

BAUHAUS INSPIRED MOBILES DIY

The House That Lars Built can always be relied on for clever and thoughtful diy’s and this Bauhaus inspired mobile is no exception. It popped up in my Pinterest feed last week and even though I have no idea where I’d hang it I feel like I need one in my house asap.

Fried Chicken and Sweet Potato Waffles

Now that Autumn is on it’s way I’m craving warm, comfort food and this recipe for fried chicken and sweet potato waffles ticks all the right boxes.

DIY Fabric Pumpkins

And talking of autumn, have you seen those adorable velvet pumpkins that seem to make the rounds at this time of year? I’ve seen quite a few different versions over the years but I think these ones from PMQ For Two are my favourite.

PINK CANDY CORN SUGAR COOKIES

It’s not too early to start thinking about Halloween, is it? I hope not because these pink candy corn cookies are the absolute best. Check out my Halloween board on Pinterest for more spooky treats. Also, these happy little ghost sugar cookies are adorable and should be made immediately, don’t you think?

FREE CROWN PATTERN - lauren aston designs

Any knitters out there? Lauren Aston has a free pattern for her fantastic chunky knit crowns over on her blog. I’m not a big knitter. I’d definitely consider myself a beginner but I’d love to have a go at making one of these.

UPCYCLED ALMOND MILK BOTTLE DOLLS + VASES

And finally some upcycled almond milk bottles turned into sweet doll face vases. You can find them over on Handmade Charlotte. So stinking cute.
