Ever wondered what you can actually make with finger knitting? I’ve got 20 cute finger-knit crafts and patterns that I think you’re going to love.
If you’ve ever wanted to have a go at knitting but haven’t quite known where to start I think finger knitting is a great beginner step to learning. Once you’ve got the finger knitting basics down, you can easily whip up a chunky scarf in 30 minutes.
I’m definitely not an expert when it comes to knitting. In fact, I find it really hard so anything that means I can make something quickly and easily from wool without getting tangled up with needles is always going to get my vote.
Finger Knitting Ideas.
Finger knitting is a fairly easy technique to pick up (find out how to cast on here) and as you’ll see from the range of projects in this post it’s also a really versatile craft.
By weaving yarn between your fingers and then lifting it up and slipping off loops you can make a simple chain that can be used as is as a necklace or scarf or woven together to make a more complicated blanket or hat.
