Easy Air Dry Clay Plant Pots.
There are a few different ways you can make your clay pots using the same techniques as in traditional pottery.
Pinch Pots - A pinch pot is a simple and popular choice. Use your fingers to shape the clay into a bowl or pot shape, then let it dry and harden overnight. They make lovely little succulent planters.
Coiled Pots - Another classic pottery technique. Coiling is when you roll out thin coils of clay and layer them on top of each other to create a pot shape.
Hand-Formed Pots - Create a unique natural-looking shape using your hands or use a mould or existing bowl to shape the clay around. If you want to make a fully waterproof pot you can sculpt the clay around an existing plastic container.
Stamped Pots - Use stamps or cookie cutters to create repeating patterns on your pot. You can also create texture by pressing textured materials, leaves or flowers into the clay.
