I sent the email below to my email list earlier today and wanted to share it here as well for anyone not subscribed.

Hi friends,

I'll be honest, I've gone back and forth on whether or not to send this email. It's hard to know what to say. The world has changed so much since I was last in touch and I know this is a difficult time for so many of us.

If you're a regular reader of the blog you'll know I've been busy putting together an easy origami ebook. It's been a long time coming but I finally finished it last week.

I did have a blog post ready to go telling you all about it but with everything going on in the world it didn't seem right to post it. It's so hard to know what to do. Should I keep sharing as normal even though things feel very not normal at the moment?

Making things has always been a big part of my life and right now it feels more important than ever. It's fun to throw yourself into a creative project. And truthfully, being able to focus on something that isn't the news, even if for only a few minutes, is a welcome distraction.

I suspect it might be the same for you.

So after a lot of thought, I have decided to release my ebook after all. I know a lot of us will be spending more time at home in the coming weeks and months either because we're self-isolating or practising social distancing and I want to help make those hard days a bit easier.

For the next 3 weeks you can get my 20 Easy Origami Projects eBook for only £6 (that's 60% off the full price of £15). It's packed full of easy projects like hearts and bookmarks and butterflies and practical projects like boxes and envelopes.

And the great thing about origami is that you probably already have the materials you need at home. Nothing fancy, you don't even need origami paper (although I am fond of the pretty patterns). You could use plain printer paper, old magazines, gift wrap and even completed colouring book pages.

Hit the button below to buy it.

Take care, I hope making some of the projects in this ebook help to make your days a bit brighter and lighter.

Emma

Hi, I'm Emma. I'm a crafter, blogger and paper enthusiast living in the North West of England.

Gathering Beauty is the place where I share craft tutorials and diy inspiration. I started this blog back in 2013 as a way of sharing all the things I love and make. I share paper crafts, clay crafts, origami, printables and desktop wallpapers as well as the odd crochet and weaving project.
