Chinese New Year Activities.
Chinese New Year (also known as Lunar New Year) is a spring festival that marks the beginning of the lunar calendar. It is a time for family reunions, honouring ancestors, and welcoming good fortune for the year ahead.
The celebration typically lasts around two weeks. During this time there are parades, homes decorated with lanterns, traditional food, fireworks and gifts of money given to the younger members of the family in red envelopes.
If you're unfamiliar with the holiday activity pages like these, they are a great way to introduce kids (and adults) to Chinese culture and learn all about the traditions and celebrations surrounding it.

4. Print as many copies as you need. You can use regular copy paper but for best results print these cards on white cardstock paper or matte photo paper to ensure the best colouring experience.
If you plan on using these more than once (which you totally will because they’re that cute), laminating them is a great idea. Just wipe them clean after each meal and they’re good to go again!
