Today, I’m sharing printable Chinese New Year envelopes that you can either colour yourself or print directly onto red cardstock.

There are four different envelope designs to download and print. Choose from a dragon, blossom, fans or a blank template you can decorate however you like.
I printed mine out onto white cardstock and coloured them in using traditional reds and yellows as well as printing some straight onto red cardstock. They're the perfect craft for older kids as well as young children.

Colouring Pencils or Markers
How To Make Your Own Printable Red Envelopes.
1. Print out the free template (sign up using your email address below) onto white cardstock or red paper.
2. Colour in your chosen design.
You can use gold metallic pens to write the name on the envelope or decorate it with gold foil stickers.
3. Cut along the solid lines of the template.
4. Score and fold along the dotted line.
5. Glue down the side flaps but remember to leave the top flap unglued as this is where the money will be placed.
6. Pop in your money gift and seal the envelope!
