It’s that time of the year again—Thanksgiving is right around the corner. As we gather around the table with family and friends, it’s always a good idea to take a moment to reflect on what we’re thankful for. And what better way to do that than with a fun, festive craft?

This year, I’ve whipped up something super special to make your Thanksgiving table extra special—an 'I Am Thankful For' printable in the shape of a pie! Filling in each slice with something you’re thankful for really makes you pause and appreciate the little (or big!) things in life.

And guess what? You can totally colour it in, making it a fun activity for adults and kids of all ages.

Thankful Pie Printable Cards.

There are so many ways to use this printable, which is what makes it such a hit every year. In my house, we like to make it a family activity.

We’ll print out a pie for each person and colour them together while chatting about the things we’re thankful for. It’s a fun way to bond and reflect, especially with kids. They get excited to fill out each slice, and it sparks some sweet conversations about what we all appreciate in our lives.

There’s no complicated crafting here. All you need is a printer, some crayons or markers. Each slice of the pie is a space for you to write some of the good things you're thankful for.

You can colour your pie however you want. Pumpkin orange? Pecan brown? Or maybe you want a colourful rainbow pie!

These thankful printables are a simple way to get everyone into the attitude of gratitude as we gather with our family members to celebrate.

How to make DIY Thanksgiving Pie Place Cards.

1. Download the free template by signing up using your email address below.

2. Print out the template onto regular printer paper or thin cardstock.

3. You can either colour in each pie and then carefully cut along the solid lines on the template. Or cut out and leave the template in black and white to be coloured in by each guest or family member.

4. Place a slice of pie on each plate ready to be coloured or filled in as a fun Thanksgiving day activity.

Make sure to pop the date on the back of each one. That way you can save the cards and look back on them to see what each person was thankful for in years to come.
